Using Power Modifiers
Don't forget to use the Generic Power Modifiers to make stronger and more versatile powers. They are a great way to add flavor and make otherwise unobtainable powers. Also keep in mind the Device modifier, if your character use a special weapon or some other contraption you can make the item itself your power (Devices generally can only be used by the character that is tied to it signifying it is confusing, complicated, or otherwise magically/supernaturally linked to that person).

DON'T LISTEN TO HIM. THE GM WANTS YOU TO USE DEVICE SO HE CAN TAKE YOUR THINGS AWAY.

If you didn't want to drop your Freeze Ray/Weather wand/Staff of invisibility then you should have held on to it better. It's not my fault players are randomly huge butter fingers at critical moments or that villains really like slapping things away from heroes dramatically.
